The Jones House Bed and Breakfast
WEDDINGS AND RECEPTIONS
The Jones House is equipped for small weddings and/or receptions. All statements listed under Property Protection apply. Larger weddings and/or receptions may be conducted outside with appropriate rentals including tents.
Any furniture moved for these events must be placed back in its proper place at the end of the wedding and/or reception.
The Jones House requires a meeting with you, your caterer, the rental agent and the wedding planner.
An agent of The Jones House will be on the premises at all times and will monitor such events and should not be considered �wait staff�.
Any damages to furniture, broken items or stains will be taken from the separate deposit as listed above in Billing and Deposits. If damages are more than the deposit you will be billed the difference. The Jones House will furnish receipts for repairs or cleaning fees.
Large Wedding and Reception (Over 50 people)
2 nights including all three bedrooms, breakfast for room guests only, rental of
downstairs for rehearsal, wedding and reception. (grounds must be utilized)
The interior of The Jones House is equipped for small weddings and/or receptions. Larger weddings and/or receptions must be conducted outside with appropriate rentals including tents. Grand Weddings and /or receptions include the use of front porch and grounds.
Wedding reception set ups involve the following:

CELEBRATIONS AND CEREMONIES
Rental for celebrations and ceremonies at The Jones House Bed and Breakfast is based upon your use of the property.
GRAND CELEBRATIONS (Over 100 people) will require the full use of The Jones House grounds and will carry an extra facilities charge.
Just as each celebration is unique, each will require a different approach. The facilities charge will provide you with the use of The Jones House space.
We require a meeting with you, your caterer, events rental agent and florist. We have a list of approved caterers that are familiar with both the kitchen and property. We also have a list of "recommended" caterers from trusted "friends." WEDDING CEREMONIES & WEDDING RECEPTIONS
The romantic grandeur of a bygone era at The Jones House is an unforgettable setting for one of the grandest events of your life. The great Victorian house provides a perfect backdrop for both ceremony and celebration, while the warmth of the bedrooms awaits your family and friends on this special day.
At The Jones House we understand that "your day" shouldn't be "packaged." We will work with you to design an event that you will never forget. The Jones House Wedding/Wedding Reception/Rehearsal Dinner may include: *Wedding and/or Reception for 100 + (foil use of porch & grounds).
* Small Wedding and/or Wedding Reception - interior use for up to 50 people.
*Cocktail Reception & Formal Dinner - seated up to 20 using the formal dining room.
* Cocktail Reception & Formal Dinner - seated up to 50 using the formal dining room, drawing room, entry hall, and parlor.
* Rehearsal Dinner fewer than 50 - interior seated or buffet.
The options are extensive from a small unique wedding with intimate reception to a large reception utilizing exterior tents to accommodate guests.
Smaller showers, luncheons etc 50 people or less) should not require us to close The Jones House depending on the time of day and will be subject to a lesser facilities charge. If we are unable to comfortably accommodate bedroom guests, you will be required to rent the three upstairs bedrooms during the celebration rental set up and actual time. We meet with patrons "BY APPOINTMENT ONLY". This guarantees individual time for those planning an event while assuring we will not take away from our current guests. We will afford you the same "courtesy" during your rental of The Jones House.
BILLING AND DEPOSITS
A deposit of one- half of the bill is due 30 days prior to the event or function. The balance is due the day of the event or function.
Weddings and/or receptions require a separate deposit of $350 and will be returned if there are no damages.
Alcohol Deposit-Any event or function where alcohol will be served requires a $100 - $300 deposit.
The Jones House reserves the right to inspect and control all private functions. Liability for damage to the premises will be charged accordingly. The Jones House cannot assume responsibility for personal property and equipment brought into the house.
Nothing is to be nailed, tacked, taped or otherwise attached to doors, furniture or any other part of the house. The exhibitor or Function Planner will be held liable for any damage incurred by himself/herself, his/her agents or guest. No confetti or glitter is allowed in any room for decorating purposes. If confetti, glitter or bird seed is used, Patron will be charged a $200 clean up fee.
A thirty day (30) cancellation notice is required prior to all events or functions. If cancellation is made less than thirty (30) days you will be subject to a $50 cancellation fee (no exceptions).
